Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Lensdrop platform operated by Lensdrop ("we", "us", "our"). By using our service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Lensdrop.

The Service

Lensdrop provides a platform for photography studios to create events, upload and deliver photos, and manage client selections. We provide the tools; you own your content.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all photos and content you upload. By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and share the content you provide through Lensdrop, including any necessary consents from individuals depicted in photos.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
• Use the service for any purpose other than photography studio management
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Resell access to the platform without permission

Links, Access and Gallery Settings

You are responsible for how you use and share event and gallery links, and for the settings you choose (for example, view-only vs selection mode, PIN protection). We are not responsible for misuse or unintended consequences of that use. For example: if you or your clients share a link or PIN and it is forwarded or leaked to others, or if you enable selection mode and someone other than the intended client submits selections because they obtained the link, that is your responsibility. We provide the tools; you decide who gets access and under what conditions.

The same applies to anyone you invite to your studio (staff or other users with access). You are responsible for who you grant access to. If a staff member or other insider misuses their access, harms your studio, or does something wrong with your account or data, that is your responsibility. We cannot control or be liable for the actions of people you have authorised to use your studio.

Plans and Payments

We offer free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in Indian Rupees (INR). You can cancel your subscription at any time. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Lensdrop available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will notify you in advance of planned downtime when possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lensdrop is provided "as is" and "as available". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lensdrop harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved through the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, this clause does not affect any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply in your country of residence, including your right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
