If a Lensdrop link has been used for phishing, malware, or anything unlawful, tell us and we will act. You do not need an account, and you do not need to know who owns the link.

How to report

Email hello@lensdrop.app. Please include:

• The full address you are reporting, including anything after the domain. A studio address looks like studio-name.lensdrop.photos, and a gallery link has a long random code after /g/.
• What is wrong with it: a page asking for a password or payment, a file that a virus scanner flagged, content that is unlawful, or an address that imitates a bank, a government service, or Lensdrop itself.
• How you came across it, if you can say. An email or a message you can forward helps us a great deal.

We read this inbox every working day and reply. Reports about active phishing or malware are looked at first, ahead of everything else.

What we do about it

• We take the address down. A gallery or a studio address used for abuse is disabled, which stops the link working for everyone immediately.
• We keep the label. A studio address involved in abuse is retired rather than released, so nobody can pick it up afterwards.
• We tell you what happened, unless doing so would interfere with a law-enforcement request.

What we do in advance

Studio addresses are checked before they are ever issued. A photographer cannot take an address that reads as a bank, a government service, a login or verification page, or as Lensdrop itself, and cannot take any of our own service names. Galleries are private by default: links are unguessable, can be locked behind a PIN, and are never indexed by search engines.

If you are a photographer

If someone has copied your work into a Lensdrop gallery, write to the same address with a link to the gallery and to where the work was first published. We will take the gallery down and reply to you directly.

Law enforcement

Send requests to hello@lensdrop.app with the legal basis for the request. We keep only what is needed to run the service, described in our privacy policy, and we never hold photographers' clients' payment details, because clients never pay Lensdrop anything.
